Description: Other text The Eagle's Rock is a premium wine from Argentina, inspired by tales of the local eagle. The eagle lives to 70, but it undergoes a remarkable rebirth at the age of 40. It finds a hideaway high up in the rocky Andes Mountains, where it loses its beak, claws and feathers. It takes five months for them to grow back, during which time the eagle can barely walk or eat, but finally it emerges from the mountain healthy and rejuvenated. Just as the eagle is reborn, this premium wine represents an exciting new step for Argentina. Share with us in the rejuvenation. Producer Finca La Celia was born in 1882, year in which Eugenio Bustos, its founder, decides to move south of the river Tunuyan in order to develop an estate which, among other things, had a low altitude pass that bordered the neighboring Republic of Chile. This pass was used to herd cattle to the port of San Antonio. The construction of the winery starts in 1890, being the first one to settle in the Uco Valley. Later, Celia Bustos, Eugenio´s daughter, inherited the property. She, with her strong personality and leadership, works these lands, converting them into prosperous vineyards. In 2000, Finca La Celia was acquired by the Vina San Pedro Tarapaca Wine Group, leading company in the wine business both in Chile and Argentina. Thus, the winery has been expanded, renovated and equipped with state of the art technology made in France and Italy, combining classical architecture and modern machinery.
