The nose is all pinot-rich, sapid fruit: blackberries, mushrooms, meltingly ripe yellow plums, earth and sousbois. The palate feels quite mature and volatile, with melon fruit, a spicy, mouth-filling richness but also a slightly pinched, vinegary finish. Grainy texture keeps everything tight. |
