Mimurosugi Dio Abita "GOD DWELLS" Muroka Genshu Sake 720ml
Description: | Prefecture: Nara. Rice Variety: Yamadanishiki. Rice Polishing Rate (the Amount Of Rice Left On The Grain/seimaibuai): 60%. Sake Meter Value: +3 (neutral/dry). Acidity: 1.8. Alcohol/abv: 13%. We immediately fell in love with this sake that reminded us of juicy pear, along with good acidity, silky texture, and a long, dry finish. We also like that this is 13% alcohol. which is lower than most sakes. It is also a Genshu, meaning undiluted, as well as "muroka" which means non-charcoal filtered, which means to us, more flavor! The finish makes you want to come back for more. Enjoy this with ahi, amberjack and lighter fare. The phrase, "Dio Abita" (in Latin) roughly translates to "God Dwells." Mimurosugi Brewery is located in Miwa, (in Nara Prefecture), which is considered the birthplace of Sake. |
