Markham 1879 Blend.750

Proprietary Blend - Red

Description: Our Cellar 1879 Red Blend is a tribute to a true Napa pioneer, Jean Laurent, who built the historic stone celllar still operating on the Markham property today. Blends were among the oldest traditions created in the 130-year-old stone cellar. The Cellar 1879 blend is a true dedication to the Markham philosophy of pairing wines with good food and great company. The vineyards and varietals will change each vintage, as it is our goal to provide the perfect accompaniment to any meal with lush tannins, juicy fruit and a silky, long finish. In this red blend, the Merlot provides velvety texture with distinct chocolate notes. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides the deep, smoky notes that weave throughout. The Petit Verdot is all about structure, while the Petite Sirah adds blackberry jam and floral spice you can't help but love!
