Quickly followed by a toffee sweetness with light oak spices in the form of nutmeg and hits of ginger in the background. The Macallan Edition No.5 pays homage to our diverse range of natural whisky color through a collaboration with the Pantone Color Institute, themselves masters of color. Only American oak casks were selected to craft Edition No.5. These casks were primarily handpicked for their color in order to deliver a whisky with a wonderfully full flavor. The result is a spirit with beautiful pale amber color, accompanied by an intriguingly intense flavor profile that hosts sweet notes of caramel and fresh fruit combined with oak spices. 48.5% Abv.â |
