Very fresh palate with red berries that hold nice and fresh. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. 90 pts Vinous March 2020 From Isla de Maipo, this blend of mostly Syrah and Cabernet Franc with touches of Carménère and Cabernet Sauvignon was macerated before aging for 12 months. An exotic nose commences with thyme before opening up its pencil box and moving on to flesh and jammy red and dark fruits. Complex and ripe, it presents intense flavors and a slightly rough texture. Juicy in the mouth, ending with a bold, lengthy finish. A wine worth discovering. |
