| Description: | From Liguria, the crescent-shaped commune wrapped around the Mediterranean, below Piedmont. Pigato: native grape of the region, rarely grown and made into wine. Tank ferment and aged. It's fresh, quite rich, oily, a little floral and exotic. More viscosity than you'd assume from a northern Italian white. Reminds us of Alsace Pinot Gris. Enjoy with oily fish and white meats, simply prepared. |
