Description: | 95-98 Jm / 94-96 Wa / 93-95 Vm. Fine pink purple. A slight reduction here. Totally clean on the palate, fruit which absolutely dances, very pretty, little starry pinpricks of red fruit, and a fine long balanced finish. Perfect elegance, precision and balance. Drink from 2032-2040. Tasted: November 2023.-Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. The fruit of a sharecropping agreement with Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg in lieu-dit Quartiers de Nuits, Mugneret's 2022 Echézeaux Grand Cru wafts from the glass with aromas of plums and raspberries mingled with incense, smoke, exotic spices and orange zest. Full-bodied, supple and fleshy, it's suave and enveloping, with a broad attack and an expansive, saline finish.-William Kelley, The Wine Advocate. The 2022 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a crystalline bouquet with energetic red cherries, raspberry and crushed stone scents, becoming more floral with aeration - rose petals and iris flowers. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. It is quite structured and maybe a little austere, yet it will flesh out during the remainder of its élevage, and there is a lovely pepperiness on the finish. Excellent.-Neal Martin, Vinous Media |
