Description: Grapes: Pinot Noir. Production: 18,000 to 22,000 bottles. Surface: 5 ha. Age Of Vines: 40 years. Region: Wine from several plots in village appellation including geography, soil type and diverse exposure, make a wine with good complexity. Ageing: 12 months in barrel. Expression: This wine, a nice dress, a present dominated by fruity specific Savigny aromatic nose. Subtly balanced choosy is marked by a dominance of red fruits. Warning: wine pleasure Savigny village can be enjoyed after only 2 or 3 years. Its material gives it nevertheless some care. Meats: Bourgogne snails, poultry, veal, lamb. Serving Temperature: 12-14 ° C for a young wine, 14-16 ° C for a more mature wine. A very seductive bouquet of wild strawberry like fruit with smoky earthy notes, exotic spices and pretty floral notes on the nose opens up nicely in 30 minutes. Smooth and silky on the tongue with bright red berry fruit and a firm hand of acidity holding things together nicely with some tannins on the finish well built with exptic spice, that smoky earthy character lingering through the finish, good length and complexity to the end.
