| Description: | The fruit aromas are sensed before your nose is to the glass. The experience is of walking through a grove of blackberry bushes. The dried leaves and ripe berry aromas are balanced by dry earth and molasses. The Zinfandel varietal, particularly in Paso Robles, makes a deeply textured wine with lots of spice character. Clove, nutmeg, rhubarb pie, and cedar (cigar box) are just some of the qualities providing a long, lasting finish. A complex Zinfandel that may be paired with roasted duck or suckling pig. This wine will help balance meats with a high fat content without overpowering them. |
