Continuing to the palate, flavors of plum Thai basil, thyme, white pepper, baking spice, pomegranate seeds, balsamic, dried fig, and tomato leaf. This is a dry wine with medium plus acidity. Tons of structure and balance between the grippy tannins and the flavor complexity. It does require a little bit of decanting to show its full potential. Overall a geeky wine. |
