| Description: | "montre-cul". The Montre-Cul is sourced at the farthest reaches of Burgundy, north of Marsannay. The dry and warm 2020 allowed this area in Dijon to achieve full ripeness, add 50% whole-cluster and 12 months in 15% new oak and the wine is packed with rich fruit and overextending structure. Black cherries, plums, blackberries and baking spice see eye to eye with the decomposing pine needles, wet forest and butcher shop aromas. |
