The nose is fruity, aromatic, and perfumed, with aromas of strawberries, red cherries, violets, earth, sage, and licorice, leading into a palate with firmly gripping tannins. There is a Trousseau-like quality in its lightness, but bay leaves and herbs show a darker side. |
