| Description: | Manufacturer's Notes: This Madeira wine has been crafted from the volcanic, sub-tropical Portuguese island of Madeira, located some 400 miles off the Northwest African coast. The Blandy's are unique in being the only family of all the original founders of the Madeira wine trade to still own and manage their wine company, maintaining a tradition that goes back to 1811. Bual is grown almost exclusively in the southern regions of Calheta and Ribeira Brava and produce a medium-rich style of wine. Matured at the Blandy's Wine Lodges in the centre of Funchal, this Bual is packed with aromas of raisins, butterscotch, and vanilla. Mouth-filling concentrated flavours of maple syrup, figs, caramel, and sugared walnuts. Sweet but with a streak of acid verve. Beautifully balanced with an endless finish, it is a fine accompaniment to pates and cheeses such as aged Gouda or blue cheese, but also pairs extremely well with nuts, dried fruits, fruitcake, and crème brulee. Proveniente quase exclusivamente das regios de Calheta e Ribeira Brava, situadas na encosta Sul da ilha, o Bual produz vinhos de estilo melo doce. Envelhecido nos nossos armazens dos Blandy's Wine Lodges, localizados no centro do Funchal, apresenta um bouquet carregado de notas de passas, caramelo e baunilha. Um vinho Madeira complexo e medianamente encorpado, com um soberbo final especiado que acompanha bem pates e queijos Gouda e azuis, e ainda frutos secos, bolos de frutos e crème brulee. |
