| Description: | Netzl, "Rosanna" Zweigelt Rosé, Carnuntum, Austria 2015 {sustainable} 100% Zweigelt Fresh, Cheerful, Lots Of Berry, Ripe Fruit Carnuntum is an emerging region just southeast of Vienna in Austria. Franz Netzl walked us through his vineyards to show off the high quality Zweigelt, it is the region's most important grape. This pink version is named for his daughter Anna Marie, or Rosanna. Showing the ripe spicy side of Zweigelt in a mild dry version with loads of fruit and fleshy berry qualities, Rosanna is a darling rose for the summer. It's limited, so enjoy it while we have it. Serving Suggestion: Best with a picnic blanket, fresh fruit salad, smoked trout dip with pepper crackers, or a spinach salad with spicy pecans, bacon bits and mushrooms. |
