| Description: | From 40 year old Melon de Bourgogne grapes planted on a bedrock of granite that's covered with gravel and silt. The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in underground concrete vats. This is a dense, mineral-driven white wine that comes from coastal France. The main focus at Domaine de L'Epinay is old vines and low yields. Their proximity to the Atlantic ocean allow for cool breezes. This maritime climate is ideally suited for Muscadet. |
