| Description: | One of the best and most approachable Charbonos we've tried. Fruit comes from Babock vineyard in nearby Suisun. Whole-cluster fermentation gives the wine a smoothness not normally associated with this robust grape. There are inviting aromas of blackberry, cherry, plum, licorice, and chocolate, with a very balanced palate that has a good tannic grip and lively acidity. Mouth-filling and textured, there's a real pop to this very tasty wine. |
