Initially, these bourbons and rye whiskeys were produced to be exported to Japan, sourced from Julian Van Winkle and Heaven Hill (amongst others…). The brand is owned by Allied Lomar, who opened the Preservation distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky in 2018. This was the first Very Olde St. Nick bottling to be put on the shelves there, launched in the distillery gift shop at the end of that year. This is an 8 year old rye whisky, sourced from Alberta Distillers in Canada. Difficult to find, difficult to get! |
