Marc Hebrart Brut Cuvee de Reserve Brut NV (750ML)

From Champagne

Description: 92 Ws / 92 Bh / 90 Vm / 90 Wa / 15.5 Jr. Bright, with citrusy acidity and a chalky underpinning, this well-balanced Champagne offers an A firm backbone of acidity is softened by the fine and creamy mousse of this balanced Champagne, featuring flavors of baked pear, fig bread, salted almond and honey that are well-knit and focused through to the lingering finish. Disgorged July 2018. Drink now through 2022. - Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator. A cool, pure and very yeasty nose combines notes of brioche, citrus, apple and a whiff of petrol. There is a wonderfully refreshing character to the utterly delicious and impressively complex flavors that are supported by a firm but not particularly refined effervescence while delivering excellent length on the clean and moderately dry finish. I quite like this as it's rare to find this level of depth for less than $100. To be clear, it's not going to wow you with refinement but if your taste runs to full-flavored Champagne, this is one to consider. - Allen Meadows, Burghound. The Nv Brut Cuvée de Réserve is terrific. Ample, creamy and expressive, the Cuvée de Réserve offers striking depth and resonance. Dried pear, smoke, slate and orchard fruit notes build into the inviting finish. The current release is 80% Pinot Noir (from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Avenay, Val d'Or and Bisseuil) and 20% Chardonnay (from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ). Dosage is 8.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: April 2016. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media. Disgorged in October 2019, the new release of Hébrart's Nv Brut Cuvée de Réserve is showing nicely, exhibiting notes of crisp orchard fruit, fresh peach, orange oil and white flowers. Medium-bodied, fleshy and precise, with a pretty core of fruit that's framed by bright acids and complemented by a pillowy mousse, it would make for an immensely charming aperitif. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate. Apples ahoy – plentiful fruit here, in a simple and fruity style with a sweet, sherbet-lemon candy finish. Easy, light, unchallenging. (rh) - Jancis Robinson.
