| Description: | Lively. Bright. Full of energy. On the nose, notes of lemon blossom and green apple. This is a dry wine with the faintest hint of residual sweetness, and sleek and glossy on the palate. Like eating a fresh nectarine that has been salted and sprinkled with lemon. The wine has a great acid lift. Lots of poise, energy and grace. We found this easy to sip and hard to stop tasting. We immediately thought of having this with scallops, but also roast garlic chicken, or sushi would pair nicely. The 1000L gets its name from Haarts importer who buys a full fuder (1,000 liters) of this wine. Julian Haart is a young producer who is well onto his way to stardom, working closely with the Kellers of Rheinhessen, and constantly improving his craft. |
