Juicy and fruity at the start, but lovely ground spice emerges through the long finish. Well structured and harmonious. 39% merlot, 32% petit sirah, 19% cabernet sauvignon and 10% malbec. Reflective of the winery's ability to combine power with elegance, the Stags' Leap Winery The Investor Red Blend is rich in dark purple fruit but also captivating for its notes of tea leaf, roasting spices of sage and rosemary with touches of chaparral herbs, cinnamon and clove on the nose. It's an instant palate pleaser with generous, concentrated flavors of blackberry, blueberry, plum, black cherry, strawberry and fine-grained, soft tannins and a juicy, mouthwatering acidity. |
