| Description: | Ruby red color with spicy notes, black pepper and raisins. Full mouth feel and very well balanced. Very intense and spicy with sweet cherry notes. And a defined and persistent finish. A perfect pairing with.Red and white meat, game, fresh and seasoned cheeses. The winery is located in the community of Poggi del Sasso, in the heart of Maremma Toscana along the slopes of Amiata Mountain, between Montalcino and Scansano. The vineyards, aged 8 to 50 years, lay on sandstone land at an elevation that changes from 300 to 400 meters above see level. The exposition and cool and aired climate allow a minimum use of treatments and facilitate the plantation with organic method. The main wine is "l'ideale" which is the result of different micro vinifications of Ciliegiolo clones, taking in the family winery lands and propagate through the graft activity. |
