We are proud to release our first Proprietary Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Aged in a combination of new and neutral oak, this is our vision of how fabulous a "Bordeaux-style" wine from Napa Valley can be. Blending wines for balance, weight, and finish is one of the biggest challenges we have; it's also the most fun! Using these 5 varietals of 100% Napa Valley grapes, we were able to assemble a wine with the weight and mouthfeel to compete with the best wines of the Valley. This is a delicious, full-bodied wine with multiple layers of flavors and aromas reminscient of dried cherries, coffee, cocoa, minerals and oak. The wine explodes on the mid-palate, leading to a long-lasting finish. Tech Notes. Winemaker: Jac Cole. Appellation: Napa Valley. pH: 3.64. Total Acidity: 6.2 g/L.
