| Description: | Much respect to former MLB Champion Joe Blanton's hands-on approach to his wine label, overseeing every step of the business, but wisely trusting Thomas Rivers-Brown to work his talents into the grapes. The vineyard is located around 1700 feet on Howell Mountain, with the mountain fruit respondin extremely well to 18 months in 80% new French oak. Damson plum, blue fruits and vanilla, with a creamy texture you can almost smell. Violets, bitter chocolate, full bodied and capable of being cracked tonight or aging gracefully. |
