A mix of traditional "ripasso" (refermenting a standard Valpolicella on the pressed skins of dried grapes that were used to make Amarone) and apassimento (fermentation of partially dried grapes). "The Buglioni 2018 Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso Il Bugiardo is rich and saturated with lots of oak spice, dried cherry and blackberry.
