| Description: | Decanter 92 Points - "Lively and exuberant, with forward plummy fruit plus a suggestion of wild herbs and earth. The texture is supple and approachable, this is to be enjoyed (with gusto) in its youth. Pascal Mugneret's Pourpre is similar to a Gamay-heavy Passetoutgrain. The ancient vines (40% Pinot Noir, 60% Gamay) are spread over 0.7ha in Vosne-Romane and Flagey-Echzeaux. The wine is fermented entirely as whole clusters and without sulphur until bottling." |
