Cooler vintage aromas of plums, mulberries, dark cherries, and graphite/pencil shaving are the first indicators this is high-quality Bordeaux. The oak shows on the nose while the palate is lithe, focused, and packed with iron rich minerals, eventually transferring to a finish that shows violets, dusty shrubs and barrel tannins more that grape tannins. |
