| Description: | Bruno Lupin's focus is on his Roussette de Savoie, which many regard as the premier definition of the Altesse grape in Savoie. His home village of Frangy is recognized as a privileged place for Altesse, as such this is one of the best we have ever come across. Grown at an elevation of 350-500m in an Alpine climate, the wine has intense lemon/lime flavors with a washed-rind minerality that hints at the vineyards calcareous soils. Green apple, Marcona almonds, honey and a steely freshness. |
