Description:	91-93 Bh / 91-93 Vm / 90-92 Wa. Note: from vines planted in 1956 and 1965. Tasting note: The wood is a bit more obvious though not intrusive on the green fruit, white flower and iodine-scented aromas. The exceptionally rich full-bodied flavors also possess fine density thanks to the abundant level of dry extract that buffers the moderately firm acid spine on the very dry finale. Sweet Spot – Allen Meadows - Burghound. The 2017 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru is a dense, powerful wine. Time in the glass brings out a good deal of Preuses mineral and floral character. As always, the Preuses spends a year in oak and a year in tank. The first year imparts a level of power and richness that, in my view, masks some of the subtleties of Preuses. There is plenty of depth and nuance here, but I feel there could maybe have been even more. -Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media.
