| Description: | Our offering concludes with a Cuis wine from the lieu-dit Les Nogers. This parcel, which was planted back in 1974, is a continuation of the hillside that produces Le Bateau in Cramant on the other side of the communal boundary. Dhontd's parcel begins with sandy-clay soil that becomes chalkier as one ascends the slope. It was bottled in May of 2020 and disgorged in July of 2022 with a dosage of 1.5 g/l. Wine Advocate 95+ Points - "The 2017 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru Les Nogers is very promising, unwinding in the glass with scents of crisp orchard fruit, citrus oil and peach mingled with white flowers, oyster shell and nougat. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and vinous, it's bright and chiseled, with a concentrated core of fruit, racy acids and a saline finish. While 2017 was often a challenging vintage for Pinot Noir and Meunier in Champagne, conscientious growers, above all in the Cte de Blancs, produced some beautiful wines, and this is one of them." |
