| Description: | This has classic Sangiovese character from its neck of the woods in the warmer Castelnuovo Berardenga zone. Medium-full in weight, the sleek fruit texture is paired with lightly dusty mineral-like tannins and a juicy citrus acidity that makes the finish refreshingly tangy and lightly drying. Vinous, subtle aromas take coaxing in the glass, then reveal juicy cherries, baked strawberry and orange mingling amongst an earthy wood tone. This is a wine for lemony, herbed roast chicken or pizza. Just decant for an hour and serve a cool 60f. James Suckling 97 Points - "Very perfumed with flowers and sandalwood.
