ItÕs made with 80% unmalted and 20% malted rye, and aged for an average of 3 years. The nose is noticeably rye, with aromas of rye bread and crackers, all-spice, cinnamon, white pepper, and toast, with a characteristically oily, briny, viscous palate with a bread, dough mouthfeel. Great base for a Manhattan or Old-Fashioned. |
