The beauty of Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon is that it offers plenty of dimension while still having supple, smooth tannins for immediate consumption. Made of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Sirah, 5% Petit Verdot and 2% other grapes, portions of the blend are aged for 8 months in a combination of French & American oak barrels. Other portions of the blend are aged for 3 months in a combination of French & American oak. Look for flavors of baking spice, caramel and sweet red fruits, and pair with ribeye steaks, portobello mushrooms and hard, aged cheeses, especially cheddar. |
