| Description: | 85% cabernet sauvignon and 15% merlot fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks and aged in all french oak barrels (100% new). Red-purple color with well-formed legs; dry medium bodied with freshly balanced acidity and with medium phenolics. Deep and elegant with dark and darker red fruit. Supple feel with complete integration. The stuff is all there but the harmony is such that you almost dont notice the details. Tobacco? Check. Pencil shavings? Check. Unique stoney terroir? Check. Integrating oak? Check. Its all there. Bearscore: 98-99 |
