| Description: | 93 pts James Suckling Aug 2020 A full, rich Bordeaux blend with loads of blackberry, currant, chocolate and walnut character. Some mint, too. Round and polished tannins. Loads of fruit at the finish. Yet, it turns slightly reserved and poised. Blend of 58% cabernet sauvignon, 39% malbec and 3% petit verdot. This will age beautifully. Give it at least three to four years to come around. 91 pts Tim Atkin Mw 2020 All produced from estate fruit, and very much the exception at white wine-focused Klein Constantia, this is Cabernet Sauvignon-based red with 42% Malbec and Petit Verdot. Fresh and elegant, with finer tannins and less greenness than previous releases, it has fine oak, good structure and flavours of blackcurrant pastille and cinnamon spice. 2022-2027 |
