It is the saga of two enterprising families with pioneer spirits and old-world resourcefulness who envisioned the great opportunities emerging from the development of 19th-century America. Earthy and doughy aromas lead to subtle, crisp apple and bright lemon flavors in this very good, go-to wine that has lasting fine-beaded bubbles. It tastes dry and refreshing and feels crisp and lively on the palate. This is a generous plush-textured wine made from organically grown grapes that combines a fresh fruitiness with more floral, candied, tutti-frutti flavors and just a pinch of sugar to soften the mouthfeel. (Jun 2017) Korbel Brut is light and crisp, with spicy fruit flavors. It is finished with a 1% dosage for a balanced medium-dry finish
