| Description: | Altosur, Chardonnay, Tupungato, Mendoza, Argentina, 2018 100% Chardonnay Juicy, Subtle Oak, Tropical Fruit, Quaffable Hand harvested at high altitudes makes for an expensive tasting wine, but not necessarily expensive costing wine. This Chardonnay is something we've been searching for since we opened. Small production & delicious, 15% of it is aged in new French & American oak barrels, unlike nearly all other Chardonnays in this price range which are soaked in oak chips, oak powder and even liquid oak. This is the good stuff at the right price! Serving Suggestion: Salad Niçoise simplified: Romaine lettuces, hard boiled eggs, fresh green beans julienned, shaved parmesan, italian dressing. |
