Cruse creates wines that are fruit-driven, fresh and delicious, but still serious. The roots of the North Coast run deep with Michael, so he chooses to focus on sites within Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Contra Costa Counties to craft these wines. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fruit for Cruse Tradition Sparkling wine is sourced from Alder Springs, Rorick, Keefer Ranch and small amount of Charles Heitz. Grapes were farmed using sustainable and organic methods. The wine proceeded through a native fermentation in barrel, wooden tanks, and about 20% stainless steel fermentation. Zero Dosage. No sulfur was used in the élevage, and it was bottled without fining or filtration. |
