| Description: | Delivery:Â TachĂŠ,âstainâ in French, is the process of using red wine during disgorgement to stain the wine to pink. The genuine Champagne blend (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier from three different vineyards to achieve ultimate ripeness) is tinted to pink blushes with a touch of Syrah wine. In the glass, busy small bead create a foamy head. Palate is bold, full, and fruity, supported by an undercurrent of firm acidity. Pleasing aperitif style yet with a structure to suit entrĂŠe accompaniment. The owner, a direct descendant of the Guestier family of Bordeaux, discovered and purchased Taltarni Vineyard in 1972 after conducting a worldwide search. TachĂŠ is pretty, delicate, and well priced. Food pairing: aperitif, charcuterie, salmon, white meats. |
