Layers of dark, brooding fruit built to the inky, opulent finish. The Mambrino isnt for everyone, and some may find it a bit over the top, but this is a wine loaded with personality. Although quite approachable today, I would be tempted to see how the 2010 might age. It is drop-dead gorgeous, though, and should offer compelling drinking for the next decade-plus.
