| Description: | This is the first wine to display much reduction and here it's enough to mask the underlying fruit so be sure to give this some air if you're going to crack a bottle young. Otherwise there is very good volume to the fleshy but sleek and delicious flavors that exude a subtle warmth on the firm, dusty, moderately austere and bitter cherry pit inflected finale. This is quite compact at present and is going to need at least a few years of keeping to unwind. |
