The fruit is grown on the region's characteristic gravel soils. Unusually, Merlot dominates, resulting in a very inviting, perfumed nose of roses, violets, plums, and blackcurrants, followed by a palate that's nice and chewy with crunchy fruit, a spicy, oaky texture, and a long but gentle finish. |
