The 2022 Côte de Nuits Villages Vieilles Vignes, from vines in Brochon, is laced with hints of dried red cherry, sage, cedar, tobacco, mint and spice. Floral and savory notes are especially prevalent. This mid-weight, supple, intensely aromatic Côte de Nuits is a charmer. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media. The average age of the vines is indeed old, though the blend includes some more recent massal selection plants from the domaine and from Clos des Epeneaux – scions of old vines, if you like! A fresh pale ruby. This is elegant with an impressive tension. Bright fresh cherry notes, floral, with impressive length. A charmer with an ethereal note. Drink from 2026-2032.
