|Description:||Tasting notes Color: ruby red Nose: leathery spice and scents of ripe red fruit Taste: mellow but well structured. Rating Wine Advocate 87 points - The 2010 Barbera d'Asti Camp du Rouss is a seriously savory and meaty wine with aromas of smoked bacon, cured meat, tobacco, leather and wet clay. The fruit is on the ripe side with elements of prune, dried blackberry and red currants. There's a touch of sweetness or roundness in the mouth that balances out the fresh acidity. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2017. (Jun 2013). Food pairing Serve with: rice dishes or risotto, red sauce pasta dishes, white meats and grilled red meats, cold cuts and medium strength cheeses, excellent throughout a meal or as a daily table wine. Serving Temperature: 16°/18° C.|
