| Description: | Impetuous is a combination of the four different vineyards from the Checkerboard property on Diamond Mountian. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Malbec. Slightly restrained fruits of Medjool dates, figs, black cherries, black currants and mountain herbs. The oak aging is prevalent, yet juicy tannins and fresh acidity keep the wine vibrant and spunky. Built to be enjoyed now or many years down the road. |
