| Description: | Manufacturer's Notes: This Arrowood 2005 Chardonnay is composed of an array of very complex. Chardonnays from Sonoma County's top viticultural areas. Each vineyard lot was barrel fermented separately and aged "sur lies" (on the yeast lees) in oak for a period of nine months prior to bottling. In addition, each of the lots underwent complete malolactic secondary fermentation, yielding a rich and complex marriage of fruit, toasty oak and tropical nuances. This outstanding example of Sonoma County's bounty should continue to develop for at least the next five to seven years. |
