| Description: | The 2018 Caldera consists of 79% Mourvèdre, 19% Grenache, and 2% Counoise. This wine hails from the gorgeous red volcanic soils of Goldbud Vineyard in El Dorado County at an elevation of 2900'. Deep, dark and herbal with a streak of red fruits bringing lift and pop to the roasted meat, black plum, mission fig, and anise. Seamless and silky, but there is no lack of power in the wine with a very persistent finish. |
