| Description: | Shumi Winery is named after an old Georgian word, meaning pure, unadulterated wine. It was founded in 2001, in the legendary village of Tsinandali, and is now spread across 300 hectares of vineyards, capturing many of the country's most important terroirs. It has a deep purple colour in the glass, followed by a rich, velvety texture. It is known for being distinctly Kakhetian in style, with ripe fruit notes of pomegranate, prune and cherry. The fruity core is surrounded by more subtle hints of lavender, mulled wine spices, clay, and leather. Perfect for those seeking something new.
