| Description: | Evolúció's Furmint is a plush, mineral-driven white from Tokaj, Hungary that flies under the radar. While the Tokaj region of Hungary is renowned for its dessert wines, the grape can also be vinified as a dry wine if the grapes are harvested early. Aromatic and flavorful, it's bursting with layers of apricots, citrus, green apples, floral and mineral notes. The palate is ever so slightly off-dry, ripe with rich flavors of stone fruits, citrus, and a flinty minerality. A vibrant acidity balanced the fruit-driven roundness. This wine is wonderfully food-versatile. Enjoy it with grilled fish with spicy mango salsa, roasted autumn vegetables over saffron couscous, or chicken paprikash. |
