| Description: | Manufacturer's notes: The Dona Margarita Vineyard sits above our equestrian center, hence the name for this wine: Mas Cavalls means 'horse farm' in my home region's language, Catalan. The 20-acre Dona Margarita Vineyard is dedicated to my late mother, Margarita Torres. A 600-feet-high plateau six miles from the Pacific, it is planted with our Pommard, Dijon 115 and 667 clones at a density of 2,340 vines per acre. Our Goldridge soils - a fine sandy loam over fractured sandstone - and the cool ocean fog make this an ideal site for Pinot Noir. |
